The MiG-3-15 is an Russian Rank 2 fighter.
The MiG-3 is an aircraft of much controversy in reality and in War Thunder. Constructed with a wooden tail, it is not the most durable craft in its tier, but its advantages certainly keep it competitve with other fighters in its class. Armed lightly with just three of nose-mounted machine guns, one of which is 12.7 mm, the others 7.62m m, it lacks any significant firepower that might make it formidable against bombers, however its light airframe that makes its tail so weak allows it to reach rather high speeds, thus lending it to zoom and boom tactics. It is best used against other small fighters such as the M.C.202 Folgore or thin-skinned F2A Buffalo.
