The PzKpfw V Panther D is the first Panther Tank on the German Medium Tank line. It is at Rank 3 with a Battle Rating of 5.7. It costs 230000 (without crew) and has a maximum repair cost of 2510 ==Pros and Cons== Pros: Good gun Cons: Slow reverse. ==In-Game Strategies== This tank is best suited to Realistic Battles and Simulator Battles. Never get into a close quaters combat as the Panthers have no armour (compared to the tanks that it will meet, which are 6.7 tanks) and an ammo rack at the side of the vehicle, as well as a very bad turret traverse. This tank is a great snipe as it has a high shell velocity which means that the shell won't drop as much at long ranges, and it has a high peneration at 500 m to 1000 m. If you keep the enemy at these ranges (in Realistic battles and Simulator Battles), you will come off better (most of the time), as you will have to waste less shots trying to get the shot on target (does that make sense?). Never get try to get into the situations where you have to use the turret traverse only, it is too slow and the enemy will kill you before you can even point you gun at them. Your best option is to stick with multiple tanks, and (as mentioned above), don't try to get into a close quaters engagement. Use your advantages and don't let the enemy use your cons against you.
